At Yellow Method, we believe creativity and innovation readiness can be measured, understood, and developed. Our mission is to help organizations unlock their creativity and increase innovation readiness.

Our research-based platform combines years of creative leadership experience with rigorous academic research in collaboration with Aalto University and its Radical Creativity initiative.  Recently, our models have been further developed with Professor Mark Runco
(Southern Oregon University & Aalto University). Our co-founder, Dr. Susanna Rahkamo, drew from her doctoral research on creative thinking and expertise development, identifying critical factors such as questioning, insight, and perseverance.

Co-Founder, CEO
Experienced leader and serial entrepreneur in creativity, innovation, and human performance. With a background in transforming organizations globally and a deep understanding of creativity as a key factor in innovation, Pauliina drives Yellow’s mission. Her passion is individual creativity and systemic creative development.
Susanna Rahkamo
Co-Founder, CSO
Susanna leads Yellow Method’s research initiatives, applying her doctoral work on creative thinking in expertise development. She is also a seasoned leadership consultant with 20 years of experience. In addition, as a former Olympic-level athlete, she has made a global impact through sports governance.
Tapio Tolvanen
Advisor
Technology strategist and growth-oriented executive, experienced in building and scaling data-driven platforms and digital products. He brings extensive expertise in transformative digital solutions and business models, technology leadership, M&A, and technology-driven growth.
Jussi Kolehmainen
CTO
Jussi leads the engineering team to build the Yellow Method platform. With a background in mathematics and data science, and experience from several successful technology companies, he brings extensive expertise in building AI systems, scalable infrastructure, and modern data platforms.
Otso Havanto
Full Stack Development and Design
Otso Havanto is a versatile full-stack developer and designer with an MSc in Computer Science and an MA in Media Arts. He works across frontend and backend development, AI-driven systems, and digital product design. Alongside his work in technology and product development, he is also an active media artist.
Ida Muhonen
Operational Manager
Ida Muhonen is a creative industry professional with a background in marketing, business development and project management across international markets. Through her work with the Creative Leap research project at Aalto University, she has explored creativity as a competitive advantage and its link to financial success.
